Key Features

Windows 10 App

CineCast is a standalone Windows 10 App. Not a plug-in. Not cloud-based.

Note: Credits rolls exported by CineCast may be used with any video editing software (Windows or Mac) that supports industry-standard TIFF image file sequence imports such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Auto Layout

CineCast supports auto layout of text and graphics even with complex layouts such as two independent columns of credits. Simply select a preset and start typing. CineCast does not use spreadsheets, templates or other proxies - you see the end result as you type. Re-arrange the credits sequence using cut and paste of single cells or whole clusters.

Flicker-Free Credits Rolls

CineCast uses an intelligent software algorithm, called Smart Stretch, to automatically micro-adjust vertical font scaling and cell and cluster spacings to enable a wide range of project roll durations without flicker.

Preview and Export

CineCast supports full screen preview on your computer display at the actual resolution, frame rate and scroll rate of the intended export subject to the capability of CPU / GPU / Display.

CineCast exports a credits roll as a folder containing an sRGB TIFF image file sequence; at up to 4K (CineCast Studio) and HD (CineCast Indie).

XML Project Files

CineCast project files are in XML, an open human and machine-readable format; providing the opportunity for interfacing to other systems for greater workflow automation.

CineCast Studio Once-Off License Fee

The CineCast software is free to download. Once installed, it defaults to “Trial” mode with some functionality limitations. A CineCast license key is required to unlock full functionality. This may be purchased for a once-off single user license fee. No recurring payments.
